Ability to add attachments to templates & sequences
In the Government space, especially Department of Defense, clickable links for documents are frequently not allowed by their networks. I would like the ability to add attachments to templates, and have them carry over into sequences. This would greatly increase my ability to streamline communication and automate 60% of what I do into templates and sequences.
We would also like to attach files at the beginning of a sequence. We do use links in email templates later on in our sequences, but in the very first email, it would be very helpful to be able to attach a file - we see a greater response rate with the attachment vs the link. We initiate the sequence in Outlook, and there used to be a loophole that allowed us to do this for years...and as of recently, we can no longer.
Yes please for adding an attachment at the beginning of the sequence or after when about to start the sequence and editing on the fly! Wanting to use a sequence for when we send out our intial invoices (attached to first email), and then all of our invoice/ late payment follow up is done within the sequence on the same thread the initial invoice was sent in. Please consider adding this feature! It would be very useful.
As some customers mentioned, leads and prospects are more and more cautious about clicking links. While it is useful to track clicks, we believe there's a huge tradeoff by not having attachments as an option. This kind of sensitiveness is market-specific. There are some geographies that we feel are more sensitive than others (e.g. Central and East Europe).
For the love of God, please build this feature now. I'm considering cancelling my subscription and going back to my previous sales tool. I didn't know this was not available. It ruins our entire lead/sales process.
Does anyone know if this idea has been seen by HubSpot Administration? Do these discussions get forwarded from the Community or does HubSpot monitor or is this just users using this Discussion Board?
This is a must for sales. The need to be able to have a PDF in a sequeced email string helps break up the dull method of just typed email after typed email. Adding a PDF with links as a 2nd email would create more excitement with your prospect and make filling out forms or directing to the website much more enjoyable.
This would be a highly welcomed feature for our team! We run a printing business and send a lot of files back and forth.
Most of our email communication starts at the quoting stage, we create virtual proofs, update quotes, send invoices etc. Currently we have to send individual emails with attachments and set tasks to follow-up for each step in our processes. We are often really busy and some days are unable to get though our task list and miss following up on some jobs, miss getting art approval sign offs etc. Which directly affects our sales, leaves some quotes open for too long and messes with our production schedule.
Would be amazing and simplistic for our process if we were able to add an attachment directly to individual sequences. We use Outlook 365 so being able to add an attachment through an external email client would be the best route for our business.
