Currently, quotas are only set as monthly, but many companies have high-volume and low-volume Quarters, months, or time frames. To more precisely manage revenue goals quotas that can be set to specific months/quarters would empower sales managers.
For example, we have revenue in January that is nearly double our May revenue, and we should be able to adjust the quota best fit this variance.
It would be great to be able to set up different monthly goals by sales rep. Our reps' goals differ by month, so... a couple will have a set revenue goal that they have to reach in month 1, then a different revenue goal for month 2, month 3, etc. Our business and our customers' businesses (financial technology) are run on a quarterly cycle, and typcially very little comes in in month 1 or 2 of each quarter and the majority will come in the last few days of the 3rd month in every quarter. We either can choose the same amount per quarter, which makes it look like everyone is way behind their goals in months 1 and 2 or way ahead in month 3 each quarter, or we can reset the goals every month for every rep, but that would make for "interesting" historical reporting issues. Please advise.
Our sales reps have quarterly quotas and our sales cycle is quarter-oriented as well. HubSpot should definitely have the option to select and set quarterly quotas.
