Ability to Calculate Average Deal Count in Reports
Currently, HubSpot does not support calculating the average number of deals in custom reports. While we can report on total deal counts, there's no built-in functionality to calculate averages directly within the reporting tool.
This functionality would be incredibly valuable for sales and operations teams looking to analyze performance trends over time, such as:
Average number of deals per rep
Average deals per pipeline stage
Average deals closed per month/quarter
At the moment, the only workaround is to export the data and perform these calculations manually in a third-party tool like Excel or Google Sheets. This adds extra steps and reduces the efficiency of reporting workflows.
Proposed Solution:
Add support for average calculations (e.g., average deal count, average revenue per deal, etc.) directly within HubSpot’s custom report builder. This could be implemented as a new metric option alongside sum, count, and median.
