The thought of giving an external representative /user full access to our company's pricing and the ability to see and edit costs is a very concerning risk that adds to the long list of challenges HubSpot needs to overcome to pull it from the Etsy Store CRM niche
I added my upvote for this feature, as well. We hire individual contractors and pay based on scope of work. They don't have anything to do with quoting, billing or pricing clients, so we do not want them to be able to see contracts and quotes. We won't be able to fully use the Deal feature in Hubspot and execute quotes and contracts until the ability to edit user permissions is available.
Upvoted. I also request to add permissions for who can edit a Line Item. Right now our reps can literally change the display name, description, etc. of our products on the Quote, which we would like to control.
This is much needed. In my company's case, we do not want any user/permission set to have access to create a quote as we require quotes to go through our POS.
