A property simultaneously being a contact and company property

Hi team

I chatted with a customer today who mentioned that they would like to be able to create custom properties that simultaneously belong to both object types: contact and companies. 

Might this be feasible for our system? Also it would be great if fellow customers would like to have this feature, please feel free to leave your comment on the use case.
