A new feature please: To be able to schedule social posts for unpublished, scheduled blogs

It would be most handy to be able to schedule social posts for such blog posts that are not yet published but scheduled. Especially during holiday season. At the moment it is only possible via auto-publish but that isn't a very attractive way to make a teaser to read as it contains only head title, link and image. If one could write the social post in own words with some highlight/s from the blog & read more/download free canvas here etc. for scheduled blogs just as for published posts, that would be great!
This functionality does exist - I'm pretty sure it has been a part of HubSpot for as long as we've been using the blog/social tools (about 6 years).
When you schedule the blog post, there is a CTA type section on the right side that says to Promote on Social Media - just like when you publish a page in real time:
Just make sure your social post date is after your scheduled blog publish date and you're all set (would be nice if that was a default).
Totally agree that this is a much-needed feature, Tea! Especially if we're scheduling links to blogs that weren't written in Hubspot (such as on the website of a client whom we are promoting).
Our company can schedule social posts for unpublished blogs ahead of time without issue if the post itself includes a video or an image… but if we want the website thumbnail and metadata to be the visible element of the post, then we always have to wait until after the article is live. It's an unfortunate conundrum at the moment. Having to go online tor work in the middle of a holiday, even if it's just to hit "publish" on the draft of a post, is such a downer!
This feature "exists" but scheduling a social post before the blog is live results in no preview image and subsequently a social post with no image half of the time and just the preview link text. Social is largely based on visual, being able to identify and confirm visual posts look good as well as read well is just as important. We schedule multiple blogs in advance at once and having to come back the morning of to create the post wastes time and can easily allow room for error (due to employees being out of the office unexpectedly, forgetting to come back to post Etc.)
Please allow the featured image of a blog to populate a pre-scheduled social post! 🙏
Exactly what Melly says. yes the feature exists but because meta data isn't public yet the post goes out without image or title for social media rich content. This is especially enraging for blogs created in Hubspot meaning that Hubspot has in fact access to the image, title and meta data and could prepopulate in the social post based on that.
