Content Assistant Is Now Available to All And It's Packed With Exciting New Features

Say Goodbye to the Wait (And the Waitlist)!

Content assistant, our OpenAI-powered content tool, is now out of Private Beta and into Public Beta, which means it is waiting for you in your HubSpot portal. So get ready to ideate, create, and share remarkable content, in seconds. But that's not all - Content Assistant also comes packed with a bunch of new features, such as content creation for marketing emails and social captions.

Why we built our AI-powered content assistant

You might remember that earlier this year we launched customer journey analytics as part of our mission to help you demonstrate ROI and make sure you're spending every dollar and every second where it matters most for your business.

Now we're continuing our investment in this area by making our AI-powered content tool, content assistant, available to all Hubs and tiers (Marketing Hub, CMS, Sales, and Service Hub). We believe AI is bringing new opportunities to businesses and we want our customers to take full advantage of this new technology.

Just like we did with inbound marketing, we are here to help you take advantage of yet another once-in-a-generation opportunity: artificial intelligence.

Content assistant is now in Public Beta

Moving from Private to Public Beta, content assistant is now accessible to all, no waitlist involved. All beta features are available in your portal, at no extra cost. While this may change in the future with additional features or resources exclusive to paid tiers, our current focus is on researching and improving these AI-powered capabilities.

Disclaimer:  “By using content assistant in beta, you acknowledge and agree to the HubSpot Beta Terms.” During this Beta phase, we'll be adding exciting new features (keep an eye out for most posts like these!) and making the existing ones even better.

After the switch is activated, will this take time to roll out? We're not yet seeing the feature in the Conversations Inbox.

We have access to it via Marketing Emails, but not the Conversation Inbox.

When using it for blog content, I've not been able to copy/paste out of the suggestion it gives. So, for example, if I highlight a section of text, select "rewrite", but then I decide I like my own first sentence better, but would like to use part of the suggestion, I'm unable to select and copy the part I want to use. (I can only use the insert button, which replaces my whole section of selected text, including the part I decide I wanted to keep.) As a work-around, that means I have to type the part I want to keep outside of the window and copy it from there. Very inconvenient. I may as well just use chatgpt in a separate window.

Can you please provide more granular control over the deployment of this feature?

 - Allow Admin's to control which users and teams can use the feature

 - Allow Admins to select which features are enabled and which are turned off

To enable it in the Conversations inbox, go to this page: https://app.hubspot.com/whats-new/XXXXXXXX/all?productUpdateId=13891254 (replace the Xs with your account ID which you can find by clicking on your company name in the top right corner of most HubSpot pages), find the [Public Beta] Content Assistant in Conversations Inbox section, click Read More, and join the beta.

find the [Public Beta] Content Assistant in Conversations Inbox section, click Read More, and join the beta.

It's turned on. It's been turned on since yesterday. It simply doesn't work anywhere in HubSpot except Marketing as far as I can tell.

  • When creating a Marketing Email: Type a forward slash or highlight a block of text, there's the bot.
  • When composing an email in the Inbox, or composing an email from a ticket or contact record: Type a forward slash or highlight a block of text ... nothing.

Thank you, @IrinaNica and @drm237.

That link is for a specific HubSpot account. Users should replace the numbers in the middle of the URL with their HubSpot account number, which can be found by clicking their organization name in the upper right corner.
