Issue Completing Exercise 1 – Filter Creation Video Is Outdated

Hello everyone,

I’m currently taking a course on HubSpot Academy, and I’m having trouble completing Exercise 1.

The issue is that the video lesson about creating filters seems to be outdated. The interface shown in the video is different from the current HubSpot platform, so I’m unable to follow the same steps and complete the exercise as instructed.

Could someone please help me understand how to complete this exercise using the updated interface?
Or let me know if there is any updated material or guidance available?

Could you let me know which filters you’re looking to create? In the meantime, here are a few resources that might be helpful:

I would like to create a filter that shows all contacts whose email domain is Gmail (@gmail.com) and who are located in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Please let me know the best way to set up this filter or if there are any limitations regarding email domain filtering.

I found a similar post that I think you’ll find helpful. In it, @karstenkoehler provides a great solution for filtering your contact base by email type, like Gmail, Hotmail, or company email.
