Certification Advice

SOLVE

Hey there! I have a kind of unique situation and I was hoping to get some guidance.

I am in the midst of an 8 week sabbatical where part of my goal is to complete a few Hubspot Certifications as professional development. I completed the Inbound Marketing certification and have moved on to the Hubspot Marketing Hub Software certification. The marketing hub certification differs in that it involves practical exercises. My understanding is that a Pro or Enterprise license is needed for the practical exercises to be graded. My company has a Pro account, but it would be disruptive to our marketing team for me to execute these practical exercises in our account, since it looks like these exercises would require me to create actual items such as campaigns in our Hubspot account. How would you suggest that I complete these practical exercises and gain my certification, without disrupting the workflow of our marketing team? Thanks!

This is a tough situation. I've done my practical exercises in two different ways in a similar situation:

  1. Signup with a personal email address for a free account and enroll in a Pro trial (click on one of the tier-restricted features then "start a 14-day free trial" below the Talk to sales button)
  2. Request access to you company's sandbox. There may be similar concerns about disrupting sandbox work, but much less so than in the live instance.

Hope one of those works for you!

Thank you, this is super helpful! If I went with option one, since I've already completed some of the quizzes and watched video content for the certification on my work account, would I be able to transfer that to the personal account?

Thanks again for your help with this!
