I am trying to pass the "Sales Content Tools" training in HubSpot and a running into a problem. When I try to make a call to complete the practical exercise, I get this message when I click the call button on a contact record:
"Calling is disabled because we've detected that HubSpot is currently embedded within another app. Please click here to open HubSpot in a new browser window in order to make calls."
When I click the link, it opens a new browser and even when I make the call and save the exercise, it does not allow me to pass the practical exercise because the call did not come from the browser I was taking the exercise in.
If anyone knows how to troubleshoot this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Are you accessing HubSpot Academy directly or is it indeed in some way embedded in another page (e.g. an internal elearning tool, intranet, wiki)? If so, you would have click the provided link, log in again, continue the assignment there.

Do you have a screenshot for this? If you're logged into the same portal, the browser you're doing this in shouldn't matter. There might however be a delay until HubSpot recognizes the complete exercise, this is not unusual.
