Q: "Requests to the server have been blocked by an extension." when trying to use the template for emails.
Short A: Test by turning off all other extensions.
Longer A:
We run a full up-to-date Windows 10 lab (with one old Windows 7 machine for grins-n-giggles). Can't speak for 32-bit, but we use templates in Gmail religiously and have seen no such failure on 64-bit machines.
Prove the issue is Chrome Extension related by turning off all extensions (other than HubSpot). Naturally, you may need to shut down Chrome or even restart each time if you've allowed Chrome to run in the background when closed.

Hi all,
If you are still experiencing this issue can you please try:
Go to chrome://extensions and verify that the version number next to "Hubspot Sales" is 2.8.20 or higher. If it isn't, click the "Update" button at the top of the page.
Enter chrome://restart in the url bar to restart Chrome once the extension is updated. In some cases, the browser may need to be restarted to pick up the new extension changes.

This is not solved. It is caused by enabling SSO. There appears to be a Google policy that prevents a redirect to Google Accounts from inside an iFrame.

Same issue for me. I've tried:
Disabling all other extensions.
Restarting the chrome browser.
Closing all browsers, right-clicking the taskbar icon and choosing 'Exit'. And kill any processes from Chrome, then restarting Chrome.
I'm running v2.8.75 of the HubSpot Sales Chrome Extension.
I'm reciving this in the browser console:
The use of params named "portalId" in externalized strings is deprecated. You should wrap it, like so "I18n.t(key, { portalId: I18n.SafeString(portalId) })", to prevent it from being automatically formatted. See HubSpot/I18n#109

Hi again, it seems that i have solved the issue. I ended up uninstaling chrome alltogether and then instaling it again. I noticed that Windows 10 also updated when i was restarting computer so that might have something to do with it too.

Hey there! Did you recently update to the new version of Gmail? I did the update and found it broke my template extention. By reverting to the old version I managed to get my templates back.

I have the same problem and did everything you described above. Nothing fixes it. No extensions exist other than hubspot now. I updated Chrome. I rebotted my computer. I restarted Chrome. Still won't work.

Hey Jenny. I have two chrome tabs open with different gmail emails open. Both are linked to Hubspot. On one email, everything works ( templates, snip its, tracking), on the other, when i try to click a template, it says "Requests to the server have been blocked by an extension." Everything else works- snipits, tracking, etc.
I have turned off all extensions in chrome, and the issue still persists. It's very strange that in one chrome tab template extensions work, and in the other, it does not...
