prompted to create a NEW contact when sending emails to contacts that already EXIST in Hubspot

When I draft an email in gmail, and I am logged in to the extension, I am prompted to create a NEW contact when sending emails to contacts that already EXIST in Hubspot.

For example, the account Tsv***.***kin@wili**.com exists in Hubspot. There are already many emails associated with that contact in the system. Also the company Wili** exists in the system, and has many emails associated with it. 

Nevertheless, as you can see, the company name does not appear as an option anymore to be associated/logged with this email, and the existing contact is suggested as "to be created". The same applies for all the other recipients here.

Happy new year! 🎆 Thank you for your patience on this post!

 

Could you please provide us more details such as the email associated with the Contact currently being used under his email property? This is due to HubSpot will find a duplicate contact based on their email address, so even if they have the same name, but not the same email address, we will prompt a message information to create a new contact. You can add it as a secondary email too if you would like.
