cannot create follow up task in reply email within hubspot

Hi,
I cannot create a follow-up task anymore for emails I am replying to from within Hubspot. The "create follow-up task" option next to the SEND button is greyed out and a popup says that I have to send an email to a contact.
The email, of course, has a contact assigned to it and sending it is not a problem, just impossible to create a follow-up task before sending it.
How can this be solved? It worked all the time and suddenly has stopped.
I thought may be connected to integration with Gmail, but this works fine as well.
This was a known issue within the CRM earlier today. The team has marked it as resolved, so it should be all set now (after clearing cache), but if you are experiencing anything different on your end, please let me know.

Thanks for your reply.
That's indeed the pop up I get, but there is YES a contact attached to the email, the same one (obviously) as the contact from the original email I am replying to.
When I reply to an email, the contact automatically is added to the reply email (which always works like that).
Still, it keeps showing this popup each time, no matter if the email has been created in Hubspot itself or in my connected Gmail account.

Hey @BEN007. Haven't used this functionality in a while, but we can confirm that it worked at some point (Oct? Nov?). Best we can do is cc the HubSpotters who will make sure the right product support group takes a look at this. (already done)
