Hi Guys,

I have integrated the Hubspot extension in my Gmail but it gives errors with adding contacts to Hubspot and Loading tasks.

When I want to add a contact to Hubspot it says; "Sorry. You don't have permission to add this contact. Please talk to your manager....." But I created the account and I'm the super Admin.

Also the error; There was a problem loading some information about "john doe"

Can someone help here?

Best, Arnout

Hi @AVrieling

But this is your HubSpot Portal login page. How does that relate to you reauthenticating the HubSpot Gmail Extension?

I had this issue and it was just the Hubspot extension wasn't logged in and connected to Hubspot.

Click on the Hubspot extension symbol in Gmail, logon, refresh the inbox and it will start working.

Hi @AVrieling

Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing and where you are seeing this error message?

Are you seeing that in Gmail?

Thanks

Hey Arnout,

Did you find a conclusion to this? I have a colleague who is also having this same issue with the same error message.

Thanks!

Carley.

Hey @AVrieling it's hard to troubleshoot this without seeing the issue, but I've a hunch it could be one of two issues.

1. Are you sure the account you connected to the sales extention is the exact same account and email that is set as a super admin? I know myself managing 3 different permission accounts I can sometimes lose track of which account I'm logged into and which account is syncing with HubSpot.

2. Are you an admin on the gmail account? If the above isn't the case it may be possible your gmail admin hasn't provided your account with permissions to allow the integration of another system on your gmail account.

Hmm, I have to admit I have never come across this error message.

I would recommend disconnecting and reconnecting your personal inbox with HubSpot and try again.

Fingers crossed that this does the trick.
