Could you please help me ? I've got the HubSpot sales extension installed on Gmail. I wanted to log certain emails to the right contact on hubspot but what I noticed is, HubSpot is creating a new conversation in my HubSpot inbox + creating a new contact every time I get an email from a new contact in my Gmail.
How do I switch this off? I've already tried Clicking on the HubSPot Gmail extension - > Log & track --> Log email -> OFF

Looks like you added you gmail as a inbox, this makes it so all incomming messaged are logged and to log them all are created. The Idea is to use this for an Inbound Sale Mail like sales@company.com since you want each and every mail to be worked on.
Try to use the Hubspot Extention for Gmail, this allows you to log and create contacts as you desire.
We don't have a team inbox set up or conversations but our inbound emails are now being added as leads automatically to hubspot and we can't get it to stop. Can someone help please?
HubSpot is creating new contacts because the users are using the Sales extension and actively choosing to log and track their emails.
If there is no contact created, HubSpot will create a contact in order to be able to log and track the email.
If you don't want those interactions to create new contacts, the users would have to stop choosing to track and log the emails 🙂

Filter: Source(s) for this extension + feature(s) of an unfinished or unreviewed contact page within your organization. Action: Delete contact.
It may be best to use the schedule option or a delay to run this workflow so you and your team have time to update a logged contact when adding someone new is intentional.
*I think this is out of beta, but if not, you or a Super Admin could opt in.
