Prevent logging all emails

SOLVE

I am setting up Hubspot for a company and do not wish to log my emails into their CRM. For this reason, I have not connected my inbox to Hubspot. However, due to this reason, any emails sent from Hubspot are being blocked by my google domain. How can I fix the issue without having to sync my inbox?

Hello @SAArts 

 

Could you please provide us more details on how the emails are being sent from HubSpot and being blocked by google domain? Where inside HubSpot specifically are the emails being sent?

In order to send out an email from HubSpot, you will need to connect your inbox, since the emails sent from HubSpot are actually coming from your inbox connected.

 

The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps.

SOLVE

The automatic email logging has stopped after I disconnected my Gmail inbox with Hubspot. However, right after I did that, an email sent from our HubSpot onboarding specialist was blocked by my domain's google server. Not sure if the two are related. Secondly, even though my emails are not being logged into Hubspot, they are still being tracked. If I disable the tracking setting it stops tracking for all users. How can I prevent Hubspot from tracking my email activity without affecting other users in the company?

I don't believe it's related to your email be blocking your onboarding specialist email. If your inbox never received any emails from her email or never interacts it's likely to be marked as spam the email. To solve you can simply "educate" how we usually call your inbox to mark the emails as not spam.

 

About where is your email tracking being set up? Could you please provide us a screenshot of it? Do you currently have the HubSpot extension installed in your email? If so you can uncheck the "track" before sending an email. 

 

When you mention " If I disable the tracking setting it stops tracking for all users. " where would you disable to email to all users?  The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps.
