I'm creating a Google App Script that will use my Gmail email address to send email to few prospects from a list in a Google Sheet.
I'm using the Google App's GmailApp class to create the email, add my signature, add the HubSpot CRM log as bcc, etc.
I want to manually add the code snippet of the email tracking, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
Is there a way I could manually add a code to an email I'm sending that will allow HubSpot to track it? or is it available only through sending it from Hubspot or using Gmail's extension?
Tracking an email on HubSpot is only available when sent directly from HS. But I think that its possible to track the emails sent from gmail, outlook, office 365 if you connect your inbox through HubSpot chrome sales extension.
I am using a python script to send a automated follow-up mail to selected customers that email me. I use the hubspot bcc option to log the email in the client account. How do I insert a hubspot tracker in the email code to track whether the client has opened the mail?
