Is the email dashboard in Hubspot independent of Gmail?

What I mean is, if I delete items in Hubspot from the conversations dashboard, do they get deleted in my gmail account too? Or are the emails just "imported" to Hubspot and not connected? I will test some things out too but thought I would ask.

Welcome to the Community!

If you delete emails from the conversation section in HubSpot it won't be deleted from your inbox as anything that is in your shared inbox (gmail, outlook, etc) can't be deleted from HubSpot.
