Gmail alias not appearing in "From" list

I have succesfully connected to HubSpot a team Gmail account with several aliases in the recent past.


However, I have just created a new working alias (confirmed) but cannot use this alias as a sender in the Email composer. All other aliases appear as options in the "From" dropdown, but the new one does not. I have tried adding the alias manually from User Preferences > Security, but this didn't work either.


I have read that this connection to aliases only happens automatically on first-time setup, but I don't see any instruction for how to connect this alias otherwise, or a way to remove and re-add the account to instantiate first-time setup again.


Am I missing a setup step? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
