Gmail Log to Deals

SOLVE

This may be something asked previously, but I don't see it, so apologies.

I am using the Hubspot extention in Chrome and emails I send are logging perfectly to the customer and the organisation.  However I don't see them in the Deal.  Is there anything I can do to get them to log to the Deal as well?

Thanks

Mark.

Yes, you should be sure that the contact that you are emailing is associated with the deal.

On the left side of the deal record, find contacts and add the appropriate contact. The system will use email address to associate, so please be sure that your contact record is using the same email address that you are actually emailing to.

That should do the trick!

Thanks Josh.

The deasl I was looking at does indeed have the contact associated with it - and I have since noted that emails are being attached to other deals, so it looks like it is this deal alone with the issue.  - The deal has a 'closed date' are you aware if this would make a difference?

Regards

Mark.

Is your close date in the past or future?

I'm not entirely sure of that though. I've got some deals in my portal that are logging emails normally despite the close date being the last day of April.

Hi @sergiodavid,

For specifics on how emails log to deals, I wanted to share this resource.

Thanks,
