Gmail Aliases

I have a problem related to email aliases. Actually, 2 problems:

 

Problem 1: (I can live with this if I can get Problem 2 resolved)

When I try to remove an alias I added under Profile and Preferences, I get an error stating:

Error  There was a problem removing your email address, <my email address>. Please try again, or contact support if the problem persists.

 
Problem 2:
When composing an email, I select the alias from the From dropdown, I get an error stating:
Choose another emial address. This email isn't integrated with HubSpot. Go to your settings to sync your email.
 
I have connected my gmail account (G Suite address = mark@company.com). This works fine and my emails are synced between my gmail inbox and hubspot. The Gmail account has another email associated with it (mark@dba.com) and it set up in gmail so its treated as an alias (the Treat as Alias checkbox is checked in gmail settings).
 
As I mentioned above, the mark@dba.com email address is available from the From drop down, but I get the error message above and a notice.
 
This address used to work and I noticed today that it no longer does.
