Hi there. 

 

I have the chrome extension for hubspot connected to my gmail account.  I have read and follwed all the instructions and have connected it properly.  When I send an email to myself or to a friend for testing,  the system works perfectly, everything is logged and tracked. (I do not have to add a bcc or anything like that) 

 

However, when I send an email or reply to a client (with a record in CRM) it s not logged or tracked even though I mark those boxes when composing the email.  I have NO IDEA why it is working perfectly on the tester emails but fails to work when I email a client. 

 

any help would be appreciated.

I think I figured out what's wrong. thanks anyway!!

I would keep the emails in drafts so my boss could read them and he would subsequently send them out. He doesn't have the chrome extension on his laptop.  same email, but different device. (face palm)
