Cannot Edit Contact Name from Gmail Extension

Hello,

Is it possible to add or edit a contact name from within the gmail extension? When we're adding new contacts for the first time it shows their name as their email address without any obvious way to edit and add their first and last name from the Gmail extension. It is requiring us to click "open the CRM" each time and do it from there.

Hi Pam,

Unfortunately, this does not seem to work. I do not see any additional options or dropdowns when hovering over the contact email address - either the contact email within the extension view found on the far right nor the contact email address within the actual email thread in gmail.

Is there somewhere else you're finding this option? I'm not sure if it's possible to share a screenshot?

Currently, there's a workaround to streamline this process without constantly switching back and forth.

Here's what you can do:

1. Hover over the email address of the contact in your Gmail inbox.
2. You should see a small arrow or dropdown icon. Click on that.
3. Select the option to 'Add to Contacts' or 'Edit Contact'.
4. From there, you can adjust the name accordingly.
