Duplicate contacts

SOLVE

I realised this morning that over the weekend our duplicate contacts had increased by 2000. Has anyone had this happen before or know what may have caused it.

 

Thanks 🙂 So far the person on chat didnt know either...

Hi @KMcLean3,

 

That sounds familiar 😅 I was missing control over our duplicates so we developed a HubSpot plugin to tackle this. The plugin adds properties so you can create views or reports of duplicates and highlight the recently created duplicates. You can start a free trial to find out what happened in your instance!

I understand that duplicated contacts increased in your portal.

1. Have you done an import of contacts recently?
2. Is there any updates that you made that could have caused this? A workflow? A third-party integration?

The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
