OneTrust auto blocking not blocking landing page cookies

Hi All,

We use OneTrust banners. Hubspot cookies scan properly, but continue to load even though they should be blocked. We block all until consent. 

Anyone have experience getting these cookies to not load until consent?

Personally I've never used Onetrust's auto blocking as I've always used tag management platforms to control cookies in these instances with Onetrust added to that platform (ie: Adobe Tag Manager/Google Tag Manager). Typically in this type of setup you would disable all hubspot cookies and the banner from your pages. You should then add the Hubspot tracking code to your tag management system such that the hubspot tracking code only fires after it receives permission from the Onetrust.

I would recommend reaching out to Onetrust on this as it is potentially an issue on their end not being able to block the cookie as it is supposed to do.

Appreciate it. I have reached to both Hubspot and One Trust and they both just forward support documents to me. No practical help. Your answer is far better 🙂  I will dig into the tags.
