Marketing e-mail tracking based on user permission

Hi everyone,

we like to introduce two different permissions for our newsletter subscribers:

a) opt in to get newsletters without tracking (open, click etc.)

b) opt in for newsletters with tracking

Is there a way of doing this? I tried to search around but I'm not really sure...

I'll pitch this in the ideas section as I expect this to be a more common permission set in the mid future

This is unfortantely possible, no. Marketing email tracking can only be turned on or off for all marketing emails in a portal. It cannot be configured to be selective, unfortunately.

Hi,

Would it make sence to have a separate list to contacts who have accepted tracking and an other to thise who has not and send mail twice. First tracking on and then tracking off?
