How to set up the analytics cookies automatically to be accepted in the cookie banner?

Hello! The question is regarding cookie settings. When I click to ‘manage cookies’, the analytics cookies category is automatically set to decline (ticked already).

Do you know if there is any way to change this (with a custom code maybe) to have the analytics cookies automatically accepted (with a tick nearby) in the cookie banner?

Thank you for any help and instructions!

Hi @Inna_Stem,

Thank you for reaching out!

Analytics Cookies do not fall within the ‘strictly necessary’ exemption. This means you need to tell people about analytics cookies and gain consent for their use as mentioned in this help article. Depending on your geographical location, enabling them automatically could be a violation of GDPR. If you would like to learn more about cookies and GDPR this website is quite helpful!

I would recommend consulting with your legal counsel prior to customizing your banner or exploring a custom solution option with a developer.

Best,

Kristen
