Customize Cookie Banner Design

Is there a way to customize the cookie banner design? For example, having a different button shape (add more radius).

I know there's a post about customizing the cookie banner but HubSpot seems to have changed a little bit and I am not sure if I am following it correctly.

My goal is to slightly edit the default styling of the cookie banner to implement a slightly larger button shape with more rounded corners. Is it possible?

Yes, it is possible to customize the cookie banner design in HubSpot to implement a different button shape with more rounded corners. Here are the steps:

In your HubSpot account, navigate to the Design Manager by clicking on the settings cog in the top right corner, and selecting Design Manager.

Search for the cookie banner module by typing "cookie banner" in the search bar and select it.

Click on the "Edit" button to open the module editor.

In the module editor, navigate to the "Styles" tab.

Scroll down to the "Button Styles" section and click on the "Edit" button next to the button style you want to customize.

In the button style editor, you can customize various aspects of the button design, including the button shape, size, color, and font.

To make the button more rounded, adjust the "Border Radius" value. You can increase it to create a more rounded shape.

Once you're done with your changes, click on the "Save" button to save your new button style.

Preview your changes to ensure they have been applied correctly.

That's it! With these steps, you should be able to customize the cookie banner design in HubSpot to implement a slightly larger button shape with more rounded corners.

However, I was unable to find such a module in under either of these terms: "cookie", "cookie banner", "privacy", "data privacy", "consent", "banner", etc. hence, I wasn't able to make the necessary adjustments to the cookie banner buttons, and I'd highly appreciate if you could potentially provide any alternative suggestions on this topic.

We seek guidance on customising the cookie consent banner to align with GDPR regulations, which mandate that the 'Accept' and 'Decline' buttons must be of identical colour to avoid bias in user choice, as this presents a compliance issue per the GDPR requirements.

You are able to customize the style of the banner in-app in the Privacy and Consent settings as noted in our Knowledge Base here. If you want more customization than what this provides, you will need to use a custom CSS as other users have shared in our Community forum here.
