Cookiebot does not uninstall correct

Hello there,

I hope, I'm in the correct place of the community. If not: Sorry! 😅
I have a problem regarding Cookiebot. I registered, I installed the integration, I configured the Cookie Consent and I wasn't fully satisfied.
So I removed our HubSpot Website-Domain from the Cookiebot backend and uninstalled the app in HubSpot.

But still I can't access the Cookie settings within HubSpot. It still says "Your cookie policy is managed by a cookiebot"

Any ideas how I can get back the access to the cookie settings in HubSpot? I removed everything everywhere from the Cookiebot app, now I don't have anymore ideas. Or do I just have to wait?

Thank you in advance
Steffen

You’re experiencing an issue with accessing cookie settings in HubSpot after removing Cookiebot. Since you’ve already removed your HubSpot domain from Cookiebot and uninstalled the app, but still see the message indicating Cookiebot is managing your cookie policy, there are a few steps you can take to resolve this:

  1. Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, cached data can cause old settings to persist. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, then check if you regain access to the cookie settings in HubSpot.

  2. Verify Removal: Double-check that the Cookiebot integration is completely removed from HubSpot. Ensure there are no residual scripts or plugins related to Cookiebot still present on your site or in HubSpot settings.

Hey there: For me (the author of this thread), the uninstal worked.
It's been a while now, but I remember that I had to just wait for a longer time until the system has "noticed" that I removed Cookiebot.
So for now, my first advise would be: Wait a bit more, maybe around 24 hours.

BR,
Steffen
