Cookie Banner for External Website and HS Landing Pages

Hey All!

Has anyone found an elegant solution for cookie banners on external (Wordpress) AND HubSpot landing pages??

TLDR: Love any suggestions on plug-ins or solutions that work with HubSpot and Wordpress. Preferably without too much coding (I can get a GTM code into headers but don't make me break our website with some css 🤣 )

While we're not GDPR (USA & Canada based, not under CCPA), I want our cookie solution to scale if need be, rather than just using HubSpot's "notify" option across all.

To scale, the HubSpot banner alone can't be used across our full (Wordpress) site because it will not block Google Analytics (or cookies from other WP plugins).

I thought I found an answer by using the Complianz plug-in with HubSpot Wordpress plug-in but it's not working properly (it is hiding the HubSpot banner on Wordpress but not properly passing the accept, working with support but it is not fruitful).

This Complianz plug-in also means in HubSpot settings I MUST use the Accept/Decline option (so Complianz can "accept" on the hidden HubSpot banner) and while I get that's necessary for GDPR I would love an "accept on scroll/timeout" option to match Complianz.

Trying to get Complianz to work as it has a pretty robust cookie policy and settings management compared to HubSpot (decline once and we're never seeing that contact again!). Last resort would be to use both separately but that's not very seamless to need to accept cookies on our website if someones JUST accepted on the landing page prior.

Apologize if this has been answered before, been through documents for HOURS looking for a good setup. 💀

Hi @JTay8 - my personal preferation: Use CookieBot -> It works both with Hubspot and Wordpress (you just have to enter some javascript in your <head> section and CookieBot has a native Integration with HubSpot so download the App in the HubSpot App store. It scanns your website automatically and finds the cookies you have on your website and you just have to categorize them.

I'll definitely look more into Cookiebot.

I got the Complianz integration working for now, but the Cookiebot may well scale better for our purposes.
