I am really struggling to find the button in a contact to change his subscription status. When he desubscribed from all e-mails, it is very easy to change it (one time for example), because you get a button when trying to write an email.
But to change it generally or to see the specific contact subscriptions, I am can not find it.
Generally, where do I find it? In the left, middle or right section? Do I have to add a specific property first?

You're probably referring to something slightly different, but keep in mind that for marketing emails, a contact cannot be resubscribed manually if they unsubscribed. The system will not permit it.
Best regards!

@BFlory in the left sidebar, first screenshot, move your mouse slightly over or under "Details über Kontakt". You should see a black line with a + sign.

Hello Karsten,
Thank you! Unfortunately I am not sure if the card in general is missing or it does not show the whole category because I deactivated everything below that category. I searched for a possibility to reactivate the "Communication subscriptions", but I did not find it. Or it is a translation problem, because in German I can not find something fitting (or too many that might be possible).
EDIT: I rechecked and thought it might be somewhere here:
But there are like 50 different ones. Because your example looked like a dropdown, I looked for a property with a dropdown. But still I was not able to find the exact one.
And if I have it, I am not sure how to add it to the left bar in contacts.

@BFlory You shouldn't have that many options to choose from. Add card on the left, then change the tab in the right sidebar that opens "Card library" and there you should see communication subscriptions or similar.
If not: please share a screenshot of what you see.

I think I simply do not find the option where to add a "card". Here a few pictures of different setting masks which all do not show the possibility of adding cards from a library:
I guess I'd need a screenshot of the exact button.

You can view or update a contact’s email subscription status directly within their contact record. In the left sidebar, look for the Communication Preferences or Subscriptions section this may appear slightly differently depending on your plan and account settings. From there, you’ll be able to see their current status and make any necessary changes.
If you have any trouble finding it or need further assistance, feel free to let me know!
@Anonymous please be careful not to share misinformation. Subscription status information (opted in, not opted, opted out, per subscription) is not accessible through 'View all properties'. Subscription types aren't properties.
