I work at a flavour and colour manufacturing company in Australia and we have just entered the digital marketing space and haven't done segmentations yet but from this lecture plan to do

I work at a technical content marketing agency focused on DevOps and cloud-native technologies. I've recently been tasked with managing our budding newsletter, which is all pretty new to me. I haven't created a segment yet, but, for a start, I intend to segment the audience by roles and then take it up from there based on the engagement insights.

One of the best segmentations is tailored to your company's structure. Working for a membership-based organisation, I segment between members and non-members. Yet, we are currently working on our segmentation. Therefore, I am eager to try new ways of segmenting customers.

We've created segments based on what state a client or prospect lives in. That way, we can send targeted emails about meeting up for in-person updates and new technology demos when there are conferences that we plan to attend in their area.

I'm in the process of learning email marketing at the moment but before starting this I had a small candle business and I've created content which I've set up to be shown to my target audience which were women between 25-65 of age, from my contry.

A non profit in the human services space, we segment by ALL news, social enterprise news, and volunteer news. We also segment based on one of our three locations.

I have created various segments in the past. One segment worth mentioning here was for a Property Development company (real estate) in Dubai. It was for a launch of a premium property on an IT corridor and was targetted for niche clients. We have to use the Job Role/Designation as a major criteria to filter Senior Managers, Directors, Presidents and C Suite audience for it, along with other aspects. This target campaign was a huge success with 96% click rate and 87% of the registered leads turning up for the event.

I worked with a nonprofit that targeted community fathers, trying to improve their ability to care for their children. I used segmentation with text messaging to target specific groups of fathers based on the community events they attended or what parenting classes they took with us. However, I used EZtext to accomplish this, not HubSpot, but I feel it was the same basic principle as in the lesson.
