I use different segmentation when sending out broadcast messages on Whatsapp

I have a different segmentation for people:

Who are family

Who came in through sponsored Ads

Who are friends and colleagues

Who are also Spam 😂

I'm new to the segmentation concept under email marketing.

I am to create new ideas basing on:

- People who have interest in saving lives.

- current collaborators and partners

- creating contact with the same cause organisations

I think HubSpot will help me on this after fully getting the skill

One of our clients is a kitchen cabinet manufacturer. For them, we segmented their audience as follows:

  • Sold: Customers who have completed a purchase.
  • Open/In Progress/On Hold/Pending: Prospective customers currently engaged in sales, including those awaiting further action.
  • Lost: Prospective customers who did not complete a purchase.
  • No Opportunity: Contacts who have been assessed and found not to be potential customers.

I'm new to segmentation, so I'm keeping it simple:

1) People who have expressed interest.

2) Existing students

3) Former students

I still don't really know HOW to do segmentation in HubSpot, tho. Hoping that there's a class that shows how to do it.

Step 2: Service-based Segmentation
We personalize our messaging for each service we offer – whether it's Phone Call Generation, Lead Generation, Competitor Analysis, or Custom Solutions. This targeted approach ensures relevance and resonance.

Step 3: Persona-based Segmentation
We craft precise buyer personas based on roles, company size, and objectives. This enables us to deliver content that speaks directly to their needs, resulting in heightened engagement.

Step 4: Lifecycle Stage Segmentation
We guide clients through every stage of their journey – from new sign-ups to active clients and even those who've gone quiet. By tailoring our messaging to each stage, we maintain engagement and foster loyalty.

Step 5: Results
The outcome? Our segmented email campaigns consistently drive higher engagement and conversion rates, amplifying the impact of our marketing efforts and delivering tangible results.

Thanks chrlee for this great opportunity to understanding the importance of segmenting in email marketing.

I helped to create a data base for a local school in a rural area, the level of participation has been great as over 80% of the prospects responds to messages. My new experience on segmentation has helped to increase participation and engagement.

This has also reduced the problem of trying to meet the needs of general prospect through a particular medium. I had to segment by creating a new community for parents of graduating students, this strategy has helped me engage them differently on specific matters concerning their ward.

Thanks

Well I am an email marketer, I help businesses grow and one of my experience with segmentation iis segmenting my customers list so that we can know the engaging customers and those that aren't engaging.

She was running on plan, and we wanted to make sure we know those that are potential customers and long term customers. See had quite a number of list but our campaigns arent converting and we also have those that havent even engaged for months by checking out analytics.

So we had to segment lust and also clean list to have few and also to know what we are going to do next to have more leads.

I implemented the following segments to improve email marketing results:

  1. New Clients: Created welcome flow that confirmed their interest and ensured they were aware of next steps.
  2. Abandoned Cart-Type Segment: Messages were develped specifically for those who had received an agreement to begin a plan with the company, but did not activate their plan.
  3. Inactive Clients: Re-engagement campaigns targeted to those who had shown interest but had gone dark.
  4. Email Engagement Level: To improvie deliverability, created sends based on email engagement.
  5. Lifecycle Stage: Targeted emails for prospective, active, and closed clients.
