By segmenting clients based on company size, locations, information management software, and decision-makers, I've honed our approach to deliver tailored solutions. This strategic segmentation has empowered us to deploy targeted marketing strategies, personalized communication, and streamlined integration processes, ultimately enhancing client satisfaction and fostering stronger relationships.

I have worked on creating emails for a company that is in the auto industry. Some of the segments we have are dealers, agents, region and company size. I'd like to come up with more that are even more specific because these feel slightly vague for the size of our company and the amount of people on our email lists.

In a manufacturing B2B company we segmented based on application (what kind of process), Activity (the accounts place in the flow) and final industry (the customers customer). In addition brand and contact level segmentation was done to create a customer profile (rough persona). This allowed more targeted messages to be sent that was more relevant for specific customer groups, for instance operators, or buyers, in the specific industry.
