Marketing for a private, day/boarding school. We've segmented based on event and tour registration, allowing us to help drive to the next step. We've also segmented based on the time of year and their current grade, to find people that are looking for a quicker enrollment (mid-year).

We sell online on different marketplaces. We develop products based on customer buying behaviour in a specific niche by getting information according to different segments. We make segments such as material, color, size, packs, dimensions, design etc to know what type of product customers are buying so we enter market accordingly.

I have segmented my email lists according to Industry, Decision makers (Based on role and solutions we are provinding) and also the locations. Although I have mainly worked on cold outreach and it is hard to get responses there. But with well segmented list and after a good reasearch with personalized emails I did get a few responses and a good amounrt of opens and CTRs.

As a marketing company, we work with a large range of clients and thus rely on segmentation to work effectively. We segment by a variety of factors like industry, marketing pain points, location, whether or not we've worked with someone in the past, and more. Segmentation has been key to appearing professional and legitimate in our contact's inboxes.
