We sell online on different marketplaces. We develop products based on customer buying behaviour in a specific niche by getting information according to different segments. We make segments such as material, color, size, packs, dimensions, design etc to know what type of product customers are buying so we enter market accordingly.

I have segmented my email lists according to Industry, Decision makers (Based on role and solutions we are provinding) and also the locations. Although I have mainly worked on cold outreach and it is hard to get responses there. But with well segmented list and after a good reasearch with personalized emails I did get a few responses and a good amounrt of opens and CTRs.

As a marketing company, we work with a large range of clients and thus rely on segmentation to work effectively. We segment by a variety of factors like industry, marketing pain points, location, whether or not we've worked with someone in the past, and more. Segmentation has been key to appearing professional and legitimate in our contact's inboxes.

I haven't experienced email marketing by far, but what I learned from these videos is that we need to segment our clients based on the information they provided to us so that we can curate emails based on their preferences and all the more have them engaged and avoid losing clients in the future.

Although I have not managed email marketing at this time, I am learning that segmentation in any company and industry has huge benefits with targeting your brand's buyer persona. Segmentation makes email marketing more genuine in that it targets specific audiences through curated emails for those specific audiences and in turn saves you lots of time, money, and the risk of losing a customer/client.

I am still thinking, how e-mail marketing can be use in selling a mid-luxury apartment?. Generally what I have observed is, e-mail marketing is used by software companies, as most of the work can be done remotely. As of now I am just exploring different ways of establishing contact with the customer.

You'd be surprised at all the different industries that use email marketing to reach their audience. There's billions of email users. The work is figuring out how to gain legitimate contacts and then engage with them through a thoughtful email marketing strategy (which includes segmentation 😎)

In the campaigns I've previously managed, I did not prioritize segmenting the audience. However, I now recognize the significance of this practice, and I believe it's the perfect time to begin implementing it.

However, my core focus for learning email marketing is to grow my business through prospects scrapped from the internet using hunter.io. I believe the best bet for me for segmentation will be geography and the business industry.

Don't forget the risks of buying lists. It can really affect your deliverability negatively, which makes strategies like segmentation more difficult to employ!

Since we have never done email marketing, and I have not dabbled in email marketing - I do not believe I have done any segmenting. I am still determing what that data could look like, while manually creating the data in a spreadsheet for our leads and current customers.

This is a great question, and since I am new to this current role- I am currently undergoing where we are even at in the email segmentation space.
