In my former place of work, we had a promotion we needed to advertise for and being that we have a lot of subscribers and potential customers, we became confused on how to reach out to them. I suggested to my boss that we should reach out to the customers that have been asking us about that particular promotion, those that have been using two or more sales gadgets from us. We did this because we believe those thave been asking after it have a deep understanding of it and will buy the idea when it comes up. Secondly those that have been using two or more sales gadgets from us will buy into the promotion advert without wasting them because they have shown their commitment to the company and have been making a lot of profits from using those gadgets.
However where we had issues was not having a clean CRM not to talk of allowing our ESP to access it. We did everything manually and it was very stressful.
I'm here to learn on how to have a clean CRM and a good ESP. Then master my segmentation game properly. Infact, I'm here to learn email marketing from the scratch
We use hubspot to share useful information with the members of our union, so far we have segmented the contacts by trade and by level (apprentice/JP) but now I am thinking about how we do a similar thing with our management contacts
How's it going, everyone! When I was doing marketing for a commercial real estate firm we had several segmentations (Too many to list.) A coleague and I went through a few of them eto see how we could build more engagement. We segmented by submarket, porperty size, and property age. I don't fully remeber the numbers, I think we increased engagement somewhere around the 30% mark. That increase happened over the span of about 4 months.
I'm working as a maketing intern in a software startup that provide visual image to real estate agents. We already have hundreds of visitors on website to try product, however I find the key segenmentation data is not avalible due to the lack of customer data. Pretty hard to segment based on nothing but location(which is not so important for software only target USA) . The only segmentation is those who puchased and those who did not. We are still trying to see if this works.
Hi, I'm Anna. So, last year my company was released a special promotion that only last for about 2 weeks. Over all the data customer we have, I seperate them based on the age, over 40 years old and younger than than 40 years old. The promotion is the same, I just create a different copywrite on each age segment. Even it was just an a/b testing, the result was quite good.
Hi my name is Lauren! I work in the nonprofit sector at a science society. I am specifically in marketing for the meetings and events at this company. We have created segments based on career stage that have been very helpful in sending messaging specifically to a particular career stage (early, mid, late) that we are trying to bolster registration numbers for.

Yes I have used segmentation for market research reports. Firstly I searched for prospects relevant to particular research report, relevance depending on current job position, expertise, new projects they are working on etc. I Haven't used CRM yet for any campaigns. But, I have created personalized campaigns through outlook by using sheets for promoting research reports to contacts and tried FTE. By this entire process, i got many responses.
