I think the actual website for Lishe , since there dedicated articles on wellness, allows interaction with the readers. The website is at the beginning of the collecting data for the segmentation.
I am currently working at a B2B polyethylene manufacturing company where I have created segments for my email campaigns based on the different industries we cater to. For example, these segments include food service, food processing, automotive, and janitorial etc.
Most of the common ones for B2B (size, industry, etc.) but recently even stuff like which competitor solution they use and/or whether it's a custom built solution.
We've created segments for each of the B2B segments we target based on their size. E.g. solopreneurs, start-ups, large organisations seeking digital transformation, local government bodies. We've tailored our email comms to talk to their unique needs and challenges.
Its kind of segmentation not entirely, I have been working as digital marketing executive at printing company, and the product listings reached the higest open rates so far with over 50 % but good for industry average, other than that, the other weekly email newsletter performed on an average level.
I am also new to email marketing, and I'm in the process of revamping my content creation business starting with my very small town of 48,000. Any ideas of where to begin?
i am new to email marketing and still learning about segmentation . it is interesting to see how you use factors like family size, age group and location . Have you noticed any particular segment that performs best for engagement? i would love to learn more from your experience
The department that I am at, we mainly do service base segment emails. We have another department who does email marketing segment. They mainly do like email blasts or special promotions or events to members who to people who were members before.
i usted to assist customers for a company and i used to segment email for customers based on behavior, demographic , geographic , purchase history, engagement-based segments. I really appreciate this learning process and i hope to learn more.
as an event coordinator, I segement my client type, engegement, and booking behaviour to personalize content. This boosts RSVP'sinquiries, and repeat bookings.
I am still learning Email marketing, but if I worked in a catering business, I would segment based on past orders ie local delicacies, small chops, intercontinental dishes etc
Segmenting email lists based on engagement, purchase behavior, and demographics has led to higher engagement. For example, targeting active subscribers with exclusive offers, re-engaging inactive users with special discounts, and sending personalized recommendations based on past purchases have significantly improved open and click rates.
The main segment is based on what type of events clients book (weddings, birthdays, functions, baby showers, grand openings), then each event is broken down into different segments. For instance Birthdays by age, sign, season.
Im in the process of niching these segments down further and making them more personal to individual clients. Like, auto message saying happy birthday month or a happy first anniversary. Trying to leverage the info we get to better communicate with clients to create trust and repeat clients.
