Segmenting by location and job-seeking status allowed us to be super specific not only with the features we highlighted, but in the tone and wording of our emails to better match cultural norms.

I have segmented my customers as HMI and PLC users. It enabled me utilize the tool effectively to target the correct niche.

I haven't had the chance to segment yet, but I am glad to be learning the skill. The company I work for has previously segmented by industry, as well as if the reciever is a current or prospecitve client.

I wrote computer users guides and reference guides back in 1982.

The ones for the Commodore 64 are still in use today.
I also wrote the first interactive childrens' book for computers called
"Can I Play With The Computer Too?"

Feel free google it.

Additionally, I helped create the digital media department for Drexel
Univerity and was an Associate Professor there for 13 years teaching future
(now current) animators, game designers, and computer technology students.

Does this sufficiently answer the question above?

I haven't segmented my audience yet, but now that we're using HubSpot, I'm excited to implement this strategy. Industry and engagement in other emails we've previously sent might be good places to start. We are about to introduce a product for an industry we haven't marketed to before. This will be interesting for sure!

The concept of email segmentation is new to me but I understand that businesses often create segments based on factors like purchase history and engagement levels.

Honestly, I didn't know anything to do with segmentation until now.
