What's the right frequency for sending emails?

The frequency of emails sent should be a reasonable limit. Once a week is usually a good amount. More than that, it could look like you are overwhelming the receiver where. It could be a bother or look like spam.

What's the right frequency for sending emails?

Hi Justin,

As far as the frequency of an email is concerned, it varies. It depends on the situation, as well as, the prospects' feasibility. I remember my time working as an Assistant Manager in the publication department for publishers. When I invite an author to contribute for publication, our team would permit 3 reminders with 3 to 4 days intervals. Based on public holidays, like winter holidays, the frequency of email was lowered.

However, as per my experience, most companies do email during holidays, providing offers and contributing value to their costumers.

So, in short, it depends on context.

What's the right frequency for sending emails?

The frequency of your marketing emails depend on your business and your audience. It's important to find a balance that keeps your audience engaged without overwhelming them with too many emails.

Consider:

  1. The type of business
  2. Your Audience
  3. Content of your emails

Overall, it's critical to strike a balance and find a frequency that works for your business and your audience.

Be sure to track the engagement of your emails and adjust accordingly.

A weekly email is the healthiest i feel to engage with the audience, but yes it also depends on the needs of your prospect/customer and how frequently they engage with the products/services being offered.

Make sure the user knows what they should be expecting once they opt in and how often they will be receiving a mail.

What's the right frequency for sending emails?

The right frequency definitely depends on the contact's expectations. If you want to start sending more frequently, inform your contact list giving them the option to opt-in for more frequent emails.

I think the right frequency relies on the expectations that we are placing the prospects on, it will become a successful frequency if the lead is aware f what content you are sending and how often.

What's the right frequency for sending emails?

Considering that in the time we live in, we are constantly struggling with time, appointments, deadlines, etc. And not to overwhelm our contacts. I would say a maximum of once per week. We need to give them enough time to digest the information we are putting in front of their fingertips, only give them what they can process, value, analyze, and ultimately desire.

The frequency which you promised you would email your contacts. The right frequency to promise depends on the rate at which the information you're providing changes/updates, the engagement preference of your industry, and how MUCH information you promised you would provide.

There is no one size fits all approach. The frequency of sending marketing emails will depend on the business and the product or service offered. A daily devotional will apparently go out every day, a newsletter could be weekly or monthly, a promotional email could be once per quarter, etc.

The important thing is for an email strategy to be in place, and for recipients to be clear on how often they will receive emails from the start.
