Switching to Hubspot for Email marketing - Warming up IPs

New Member

We're about to swtich from Klaviyo to Hubspot for our email marketing. Can anyone tell me how long it takes before you can move your entire list over? We're likely going to use dedicated IPs, our list size is about 220k. Is there a warm up period for the IPs? If so, how long does that take? Typically when we move platforms it can range from 30-90 days. Just curious if it's the same here.

On one hand, we've seen new HubSpot clients with marginally healthy organic lists (100K+) warm up IPs in less than 30 days. On the other hand, we've seen new HubSpot clients with purchased lists (10K-100K+) fall flat on their faces even after 90+ days.

SparkPost has some helpful info (including a ramp-up chart) on warming up IPs on lists as large as 1MM contacts. You'll find their article referenced in the following post.

Please note that emailing purchased lists is directly against HubSpot's accpetable use policy.

@singlelh agree completely with @MFrankJohnson.  Is there a reason why you're looking to use a dedicated IP?  One suggestion is to throttle your email sends so that you don't have to perform a lot of manual segmentation.
