One of the best ways to learn email marketing is by implementing strategies and sharing ideas with other email marketers, just like you.

That’s why we’re so excited to create this community of email marketers to learn and grow better together!

To get started, say hello and introduce yourself. Here are some questions to help you get started:

  • What's your current role?
  • What industry do you currently work in?
  • What makes a memorable email (and why)?
  • What are you hoping to get out of this group?

Hello everyone! My name is Jasel. I'm currently a marketing associate for my church. I believe that a memorable email  resonates with you a while after reading it. It should'nt be overly lengthy but also should contain all information necessary. In my workplace our goal is to share to share the gospel, so if my emails encourage people in their walks with the Lord i believe it will be a job well done. By joining this group, i'm hoping to learn the best ways I can use my position to share the gospel with as  many people as possible.

Hi everyone. My name is Leo. I am a Digital Marketing Specialist for a non-profit. I currently manage all of HubSpot for the company, including email sending, form creation, and contact management.

A memorable email guides the receiver through it almost like a storybook. The pathway to the CTA should be a natural thing.

I'm hoping to learn some cool email design tricks, email heath management, and advice on setting up and editing RSS feed options.

Hello everyone!

I am starting a new role as content specialist in email marketing in the fashion industry! I am very excited to learn and to apply all this knowledge to my new job.

I think a good email is pleasing to look at, clear in its scope of what it wants from/offers me, and not too invasive or repetitive. It hooks you, and you remember it.

Thank you!

Hi I'm Steve, I'm a digital marketing newbie and have created a website (dancedad.co.uk) and social media (@thedancedaduk) to put into practice the things I'm learning as I've so far struggled to get some entry level experience.

Email marketing is something I find quite daunting as personally I'm not exactly a 'clear inbox' kind of person so I'm looking for help to create emails that have some value to their intended recipients!

Hello!

My name is Jide (pronounced like 'Today' but with a J) and I am a sales professional working for a small start-up SaaS company as the Business Development Lead for new business. With the company being so small, I have to wear the marketing hat too, so I'm hoping to improve our email campaigns. I work in the Senior Care and Healthcare Industry. A memorable email is one that feels natural and conversational without feeling like it is "trying" to sell me something.

Hopefully, I can find others just learning to create professional email campaigns and we can grow together!

Hello everyone,

My name is Sugeily (pronounce: su-hey-lee), and I am thrilled to start the Email Marketing courses to understand email best practices. I am currently working in a very different field, and I am a researcher for a startup working with a diagnostic test. I am pivoting my career to marketing, pursuing a master's in marketing analytics, and looking for opportunities in the marketing field.

I am working on a project to implement a digital marketing plan for a startup and one of the tactics we will use is email marketing. So, I am looking forward to learning more about email marketing from all of you. I'll ask many questions about your experiences and tips to develop email marketing campaigns.

Hello! I'm Gabi, a sophomore college student majoring in business management and social media marketing. I am a marketing intern at a mortgage loan company. I'm thankful enough that my boss is allowing me to launch my own email campaign and learn from Hubspot.

For me, what makes an email memorable is if it's in some way personal. If I can clearly tell that an email was sent to me because I was on a list, then I'll usually delete it since it's normally not something I need to look at.

I'm hoping to learn how to launch a successful email campaign in Hubspot and gain any other marketing advice from other industry professionals.

Hi everybody!!

My name is Kelly, a recruiter at a Insurance company based in Seattle.  As you can imagine, I am constantly sending emails that must promote and create good relationships with all of our customers. Customers to me are employees and actual customers, at least in my business.  When I write emails I try to craft in such a way then  when read,  sounds like I talk. Now, I know that might sound crazy but I get many compliments from people who tell me they could hear my voice. This is the ultimate compliment for me because the person reading my email can understand that I am a human who can communicate on a personal level.  With this being said, what I am trying to understand with this course and in the group, is to get better at understanding the anatomy of a well crarfted email.

Hey, everyone!

I’m Ishaan, currently working as a digital marketing intern in a tech firm.

A memorable email is a mixture of an intuitive banner, a clear & concise message and a call to action button.

I'm hoping that we all learn and grow together by bringing up questions and sharing all possible expertise and discussion on the latest trends of email marketing.

Hey-a!
My name is Dylan Scott Miller and I am a business owner. Within that business, I run an agency to do lots of copywriting, especially in the tech industry.

A memorable email (to me) almost always has some humor and a simple CTA ("reply and let me know your thoughts about..." as an example.

I am hoping to improve my skills in email marketing to help serve my clients, helping them create engaged clients of their own!
