1-Subject Line

  • customize the subject
  • Start with a question: "Do you want to know how to generate more traffic to your website?
  • use emojis:
"Needing news 💡 for your blog?"
  • keep it short
  • create a sense of urgency

2 Preview Text

the trick is to keep it short and interesting. Offer your contact just enough to make them want to know more.

3 Email Header

It is important to include Call to Action

4 Branding

Your brand logo, colors, fonts, and messaging should be consistent with what you use on other platforms.

5 Email Layout

Within your layout, consider factors such as the positioning of blocks, font styles and sizes, as well as the position of each image. Don't be afraid to use plenty of white space so your emails will be more easily typed.

6 Visual content

gifs or animations

7 Email Personalization

8 Responsive Email Design

9 E-mail signature

10 Compliance with LGPD or GDPR

11 A/B Testing

12 call to action

In my opinion, a successful layout for a high performing email should look something as the following:
1. It should have a nice little greeting which shouldn't sound like too formal
2. A catchy or appealing subject line (still it should clear your business goal)
3. A straight forward and clear message for the reader so that he knows why he's reading and what's the main purpose of sending this email
4. An attractive and right CTA
5. Also it should include any relatable image or video to support your main content of the mail
6. A sweet thank you message for your receiver so that he will know that you value their time and effort which they are putting in opening and reading your mail

A successful marketing email template typically follows these key principles:

1. **Clear and Compelling Subject Line**: The subject line should be concise, attention-grabbing, and relevant to the content of the email to entice recipients to open it.

2. **Eye-Catching Header**: A visually appealing header with your brand logo or imagery helps establish brand recognition and draws attention to the email.

3. **Engaging Content**: The body of the email should include concise and engaging content that is relevant to the recipient's interests or needs. This may include a combination of text, images, and multimedia elements to maintain interest and convey your message effectively.

4. **Strong Call to Action (CTA)**: A clear and prominent CTA button or link encourages recipients to take the desired action, whether it's making a purchase, signing up for an event, or visiting your website.

5. **Personalization**: Personalizing the email with the recipient's name or other relevant information can help increase engagement and make the email feel more tailored to the individual.

6. **Mobile Optimization**: With the increasing use of mobile devices, it's essential to ensure that your email is optimized for mobile viewing, with a responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes.

7. **Social Sharing Buttons**: Including social sharing buttons allows recipients to easily share the email content with their network, extending the reach of your message.

8. **Footer with Contact Information and Unsubscribe Link**: A footer containing your contact information, including your company's physical address and a link to unsubscribe from future emails, helps build trust with recipients and ensures compliance with email marketing regulations.

I think the layout structure you propose is very accurate and well-designed for emails. It is important to take into account every small detail within the email and make sure that each one of them is guiding the reader toward our main goal.

A high-performing email should have the following elements:

1) A credible "from" and email address

2) A short title that contains a keyword that is relevant for the receiver without feeling too "salesy"

3) A brief body with clear structure that provides value to the reader (an answer to a problem they have / information about a topic they are interested in) and a clear call-to-action button that will connect them to an external link (i.e. the company's website, blog, etc.)

A successful marketing email template consists of a great subject line (that is 41-50 character keeping in mind mobile devices since most people view emails via mobile device), is short and concise and clear with a purpose set in place, is personalized in order to connect with the reader and contains one CTA at the end.

I'm saying this as person that gets a ridiculous amount of marketing email.  you have 1 relevant email title,  and 2 sentences to convince me to not delete the email lol.  - I'll even admit that sometimes when I get emails titled "Act now and save"  -  i  take the advice, instantly delete and save 100% by not wasting my time reading the rest, and if someone is too persistent with those psycho hack type messages,  I'll ask to unsubscribe or block when necessary.  as the meme goes,  "Ain't nobody got time for that"

For me, a successful marketing email template looks very clear, concise and complete. It has a click-baiting subject line and the email body is grammar-free, looks neat and the content is laid out in a fun but still readable way. Reading the email must be interesting for the recipient that it will make him click available links to know more about the product the sender offers. I have attached screenshots of a high-performing email as an example.chinkee tan email1.PNGchinkee tan email2.PNG

In my opinion and in this scenario, we are aiming to introduce ourselves to the target audiance. So, a subject line that makes the reader think and act , "What is in for me?" will make him open an email

A great greeting line

A small introduction

Somethings mutual to be discussed eg. about the clients achievement or recent trend related to their industry or work.
Mixing the same with how we can add value to what their goals are . Engaging them to add content from their end or think on same lines
A time slot to catchup to pitch the product or service. (Offline or Online)
Appreciate the time taken to read the email

Finally salutation

Creating a successful layout for a high-performing email involves considering various factors to engage and convert your audience effectively. Here are some key elements for a successful email layout:

Clear and Compelling Subject Line: Grab the recipient's attention with a concise and compelling subject line. Make it relevant to the content of the email to encourage open rates.

Eye-Catching Header: Use a visually appealing header or banner that aligns with your brand. This could include your logo, a captivating image, or a design that sets the tone for the email.

Concise and Relevant Content: Keep your content clear, concise, and focused on the main message. Use short paragraphs, bullet points, and compelling language to maintain the reader's interest.

Call-to-Action (CTA): Place a prominent and clear CTA that guides the reader on what action to take next. Whether it's making a purchase, downloading content, or signing up, make the CTA stand out.

Personalization: Tailor your email content to the recipient. Personalized emails, addressing the recipient by name and offering relevant recommendations, can significantly improve engagement.

Mobile Responsiveness: Ensure that your email is mobile-friendly as many users check emails on their mobile devices. A responsive design ensures a seamless experience across different devices.

Images and Visuals: Use high-quality images that enhance your message. However, avoid overwhelming the email with too many visuals, and ensure that the email is still effective even if images are disabled.

Social Media Integration: Include social media buttons or links to encourage recipients to share your content on their social networks, expanding your reach.

Footer with Contact Information: Provide a clear and accessible footer with essential contact information, including an unsubscribe option for compliance with email marketing regulations.

A successful marketing email template should be designed to capture the reader’s attention and encourage them to take action. Here are some tips to help you create a high-performing email:

Keep it simple: A clean and simple design with a clear message is more likely to be read and acted upon. Avoid cluttering the email with too many images or text.

-Make it mobile-friendly: With more than half of all emails being opened on mobile devices, it’s important to ensure that your email is optimized for mobile viewing. Use a responsive design that adjusts to different screen sizes.

-Use a clear call-to-action: Your email should have a clear and concise call-to-action that tells the reader what you want them to do. Use action-oriented language and make sure the CTA stands out.

-Personalize the content: Personalized emails have higher open and click-through rates than generic ones. Use the recipient’s name and other relevant information to make the email feel more personal.

-Use eye-catching visuals: Use images and graphics that are relevant to the message and help to break up the text. Make sure the visuals are high-quality and optimized for fast loading.

-Include social sharing buttons: Encourage readers to share your content by including social sharing buttons in your email. This can help to increase your reach and engagement.

In your opinion, what's a successful layout for a high-performing email?

It starts with selecting a SMART goal. Then putting together all the elements that will support this goal. A clear and consise title and preview are essencial. Keeping it short will improve the mobile view. Speak the audience language. Short and sweet copy with 1 clear CTA. Include good images if applicable.

A successful marketing email template is one that ensures all of its components are driving the reader to a clear and direct CTA. Use the five W's to ensure the goal of the email is clear, then ensure the email sections are aligned accordingly. The subject line, preview text and email copy should be clear, personalised and showing the value of the email's content. The email copy should be informed by the CTA. Where applicable, link images, hyperlink appropriate copy and edit the alt text of your images around the desired outcome/CTA.
