A successful email marketing is an email that grabs attention.
How ?
The title should be catchy and offer a solution.
The body should be spaced out and easy to read with an image and a CTA

A high-performing email should have a goal and objective in mind. The subject line should be personalized and attention-grabbing. The body text should be short and to the point that is relevant to the reader and will entice them to read more and click on the CTA.

At Propchain the lowest-performing emails were our weekly newsletters. To address this problem we analyzed who was actually opening and reading the emails and only started sending the emails to these people. In addition, we began sending emails to groups of people who actually specifically asked for a certain kind of content.

The email should be personalized whenever possible. The subject should be short and include modern day wordage and emojis (when appropriate). The body should grab the reader's attention, addressing a want or need, and use graphics.

Given the fact that Gen Z audience is increasing daily, I think the usage of multimedia can impact the email's performance.

It needs to have a subject line that attracts the person to the email, it needs to have a custom intro with information from the prospect, also the body of the email has to move the lead toward my goal of sending this email to him, and at the end, we use a Custom outro like a postscript letting them know they can always reach of if they have additional questions

For a high-performance email, one should know his or her recipient. The current relation, the occupation, and mutual interests. I remembered experimenting last year with emails to different contacts from LinkedIn, trying to fill out the survey for the project. By knowing their relationship with me and their current occupation and knowing them as eligible to fill out the survey, I created a personalized email for them to fill out the form.

In your opinion, what's a successful layout for a high-performing email?

The most successful layout for a high-performing email is an email with a clear goal and an optimized email for conversations.

When setting a goal, use the 5 whys to narrow down the goal: who, what, when, where, and why.

Who: use segmentation, so you know who you are taking to and where they are in the buyer journey.

What: what is it that you want them to do

When: when is the most relevant time to send the email

Where: where is the read looking at the email? (mostly on mobile devices, 48% on mobile and 41% on iPhone.)

Additionally, for best optimization, we want more opens and clicks.

For better opens, focus on the subject line, the Sender, and the preview text. Remember your "why" have all parts connected to why you're sending the email in the first place.

For better clicks, don't make the reader work too hard.

Have short paragraphs, bulleted text, and bold headlines.

Check spelling and have a clear CTA.

1. Attractive subject line that does not have spam triggers.2. Personalized and interesting preview text. 3. Value preposition that sparks desire of your product or what you are offering (this should be good copy). 4. A clear call to action that will convert.

A hierarchy should be followed as it leads the reader to the call to action or desired outcome.

Clear, organized, and beautifully designed, that knows how and where to use photographs, videos, gifs, and different text formats to give even more clarity and relevancy to the message we want to convey. Not too long and tedious but containing all the necessary elements to inform and motivate the reader to take action.
