A successful email marketing template should entail;

  • Subject Line- which is clear and states the purpose of sending the email.
  • Preview Text - which years the content of the email and pique interest the reader.
  • Body - which is brief, personalized, and provides value to the reader.
  • CTA - clearly tells the reader the next action to take.

In your opinion, what's a successful layout for a high-performing email?

1. Attractive subject line that does not have spam triggers.2. Personalized and interesting preview text. 3. Value preposition that sparks desire of your product or what you are offering (this should be good copy). 4. A clear call to action that will convert.

A hierarchy should be followed as it leads the reader to the call to action or desired outcome.

Clear, organized, and beautifully designed, that knows how and where to use photographs, videos, gifs, and different text formats to give even more clarity and relevancy to the message we want to convey. Not too long and tedious but containing all the necessary elements to inform and motivate the reader to take action.

First things first, there should be a goal for sending a marketing email. This will inform the structure of the email.

That said, a successful marketing email layout will have the following:

  • Short, catchy subject line that doesn't contain spam trigger words
  • Real-person sender with their email bearing the company name e.g. dianastevens@hubspot.com
  • Preview text which connects with the subject line and gives readers a peep into the body of the email.
  • Email body with short sentences and paragraphs, personalization (by inserting first names, writing email copy which that segment of audience can relate to).
  • Images, GIFs, and emojis (as appropriate) to make take the emai for bland to attention-grabbing.
  • Call-to-action that drives readers to take a specific action.

An excellent email template has an interesting subject line that is readable, a sender profile with a clear purpose, an eye-catching preheader, and a message that is easy to understand. A well-designed email should also have a simple layout with one main CTA.

A successful email template includes a relevant and well-written subject line, a strategic sender profile, a useful and attractive preheader, along with an easily digestable message and clean layout with a single, direct CTA.

Depends on several factors, but also on market. I use as much as possible personalization in Subject and Preheader, but also in body of email. Emojis also can be a good trigger. Some CTA are holding emoji for present like Valentine's Day.

Sometimes one CTA is enough but sometimes more is appropriate (for Sport betting) linked to specific web pages or blog. Animated gif if possible unstead still image.
