I have a website in the outdoor niche (here is - https://under-the-open-sky.com) and a few weeks ago I've made a cool redesign. Now I think I should try with email marketing, but... Is this worth it? Does anybody know what is an average email conversion for affiliate websites? It would be great to hear your advises and thoughts, guys.

General email conversion rate AVERAGES quickly lose value as we increase focus on important characterics unique to our own target audience AND for our own product / service offerings. Focus on these characteristics dramatically affect email conversion rates.

It's often helpful to look at email as the messenger, not the message. However, in the B2C ecom space, click-to-purchase CTAs can be HUGE conversion assets in email. Anyone who shops online sees these emails all the time ...
The bigger question here is, "How well will these types of emails convert for your audience?" Only way to know ... test ... test ... then ... wait for it ... test some more. 🙂
RECOMMENDATIONS Skip the typical b$ -- i.e., generic email blasts to non-segmented lists. Start with laser focus ... - Send a highly personalized email to a very specific segment of your list. - Then optimize by tweaking that send (over time) until you achieve an acceptable open rate (>30% -- average is 20.81%, but we don't believe in 'average', so ...) - AND, more importantly, tweak that send until you achieve an acceptable click-through-rate (>3%? -- only you know what's acceptable here).
