get back a marketing email: it disappeared after saving, URL states "email not found"

I finished a marketing email, saved it and after that it disappeared, is nowhere to be found in the system manually and also URLs directly to the email or from the browser dont work (error message "email not found") 
I did not accidently delete it and still know how I named it. how can I get it back?

You can try contacting support to see if it can be restored. Unfortunately this is a user to user forum and our options are limited.
