Workflow emails - Is there the ability to see the actual email a customer received
SOLVE
Hello,
We're sending several marketing emails through a workflow.
The emails themselves have been updated a few times, once in March, once in August, and once recently in December.
When I click into a Contact Profile on Hubspot, all I'm seeing are the latest versions of the emails (updated in Dec), even if the email was sent in March. Is there a way for me to automatically see the actual email they were sent?
I understand that I can go into the version history of an email to get that info, but I'm wondering if there is a setting/best practice we should employ to make sure we are always seeing the actual email sent, not the latest.
Unfortunately, the version history is your best option. There is currently no way to access the exact version of the sent email (unless you've previously set up the compliance copy feature and want to sift through all sent emails.)
I'd recommend upvoting. The product team reviews these requests based on their popularity. You can also guide more people to the idea by accepting my reply as a solution, I'd appreciate it.
Best regards!

Hi @LRob32086! I would recommend the following: 1. When wanting to update, instead clone the main email and do the updates in the clone version and then you can set up that new email in the workflow. 2. Including yourself or other team members in the difusion list to make sure the email is looking as expected, you can create a list of internal team members and call it ''test list'' and send it first to your internal team as a test. Eitherway, you can always make sure to see that the email your contacts are receiving is the right one by looking at the contact's activity in their profile and clicking on the email name that was recently delivered, the email showing should be the one you sent with the updates.
