Workflow - Send Internal Marketing Email to Account Owner

SOLVE

Hi!

I am trying to setup a workflow that is triggered when a prospect fills out a survey. 

  1. Pre-Demo Survey - completed by Prospect
  2. Prospect is added to List
  3. When added to List this triggers workflow
  4. Internal Notification sent (WITH SURVEY ANSWERS) to Account Owner

What is the best way to set this up? I need the Account Owner (not Contact Owner) to get the Prospect's individual Survey Answers. Thanks! 🙂

Can you check point 1. and 2. of my original reply? The account owner field needs to a property of the "HubSpot User" field type. 

 

I assume it is not, hence why it isn't showing as an option in the drop-down menu.

Hi Frank - I've ben trying to figure out what you're saying about creating the Account Owner. I have this field, but it's not showing up in the drop down for "Send to Existing Owners". 
How do I add that as an option for "Send Internal Email Notification"?

Hi @JSkene 

 

Have you created an "Account Owner" property and are account owners assigned in HubSpot?

 

If not, you need to do the following:

  1. Your account owners need be users in HubSpot
  2. Create you "Account Owner" property, the field type needs to be a HubSpot user property
  3. Assign the respectice users in HubSpot to the contacts
  4. Then select the new "owner" property you created in the "send to existing owners" dropdown (see screenshot below) Screenshot 2023-07-29 at 13.14.39.png
