We are about to start using an HTML template to send newsletters via email. I got an HTML template from a potential vendor and uploaded it to HubSpot below:
Then I moved to create an email and chose "Custom option".
Why can I not see the template there, and how to fix it?
I can preview this template, and it looks good, but I want to be able to choose this template and send it to specific mailboxes to see how it will look and how big the difference will be.
Good day @PamCotton thank you for your support. Yes, I did everything you mentioned. I was able to resolve this issue by buying a monthly subscription from Stripo that has direct integration with HubSpot. Unfortunately, the more I work with HubSpot, the more disappointed I am 🙂 There are too many things to be done, and it happens very slowly, and too much to be invested additionally if you want to have things working right.
It looks like the HTML template might not be properly saved as an email template in HubSpot.
Have you checked if the template was uploaded under 'Design Tools' and set as an 'Email' template rather than a 'Page' or 'Module' template?
Also, try clearing the cache or refreshing the email editor. If it's still not appearing, you might need to assign it as a 'coded template' under Marketing > Email before it becomes available in the custom email selection.
